Cautions:

  1. Due to the laminated structure hose, please use the joints to seal an inner surface of the hose.
  2. Please do not use the joints to seal an outer surface of the hose. This may result in the bursting or coming off from the hose.
  3. When you use our products, please refer to "Precautions for Use." ("The Precautions for Use" of E-SJSP is also downloadable here.)
  4. In terms of chemical resistance, please refer to "Chemical Resistance Data."
  5. Although the inner layer is made of ETFE fluorine, please make sure whether or not E-SJSP is usable for high purity fluids before you use.
  6. Although the inner layer is resistant to fluids, depending on working environments, the fluids would be permeated through the inner layer, resulting in the danger of swelling and degradation of the middle or outer layer.

Application Examples

Example 1: Fragrance and Synthetic Colorants Manufacturing Plant

HAKKO Flexible Fluorine (ETFE) Resin SUS Spring Wire Hose [E-SJSP] is used for transferring hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, esters, and other kinds of chemicals. HAKKO E-SJSP is used as a replacement of silicone hose due to the fact that E-SJSP shows better chemical resistance and has longer lifetime.

Example 2: Cleaning Process (Semiconductor Industry)

In order to remove any contaminations (such as wastes and metal ions) on the surface of wafer, fluids such as high-purity acid, alkali-based chemicals (such as ammonia, hydrogen peroxide, hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide) and pure water are used. HAKKO Flexible Fluorine (ETFE) Resin SUS Spring Wire Hose [E-SJSP] is used for transporting these fluids.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: E-SJSP includes a SUS wire inside a hose, so working pressure is higher than E-SJB. Is this correct?
Answer: No. The maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (10 Bar) at 20$^\circ$C for E-SJB-9 - E-SJB-25, while 0.5 MPa (5 Bar) at 20$^\circ$C for E-SJSP-12 - E-SJSP-15. A SUS wire is used for withstanding negative pressure (vacuum). E-SJB is recommendable in use for higher positive pressure.

Question: We would like to know how to cut E-SJSP correctly.
