HAKKO Hose for Meeting RoHS Restricted Substances' Requirements
[ RoHS Directive ]
The purpose of RoHS Directive is to minimize the risks of causing environmental damages or affecting human health by limiting hazardous substances, which contained in electronic and electrical equipment (including packaging materials) sold in EU countries.
[ REACH Regulations ]
This is a regulation for the purpose of registration, evaluation, approval, and restriction of chemical substances in EU countries. These chemical substances are referred to substances of very high concern (sometimes called SVHC) and have very high environmental and human health concerns.
Both RoHS Directive and REACH Regulations restrict the harmful substances and minimize the causes of environmental destruction and dangers of negative effects to human health, but the scope of these two regulations is different.
