Flexible Fluorine (ETFE) Resin Hose for Water-Based Paints
As part of measures to cope with volatile organic compounds (VOC) recommended by the Ministry of the Environment, it has changed from oil-based paints (Paint using a second organic solvent such as toluene or xylene) to water-based paints (water solubility). For nylon hoses, which have proven to have been used in oil-based paints, chemical resistance to alcohols and amines is relatively low. Thus, the duration of nylon hoses in this application is very short.
We recommend that “Flexible Fluorine (ETFE) Resin Hose Series” should be used for water-based paints because of their high chemical resistance to alcohols and amines.
